Introduced at the autumn 2013 boat shows, the Hanse 505 is a highly livable boat that fully satisfies Hanse's goal of creating a comfortable and easy to maneuver boat at a highly competitive price. Its innovative feature lies in the furniture, many of which are made with a sturdy solid skeleton, ensuring greater solidity and durability than previous models. The Hanse 505 offers good value for money, although buyers should be aware that this is a budget boat with basic deck equipment and some budget-friendly design solutions, such as cowl covers that cover the quickdraws screwed in with exposed screws on deck or the unlaunchable lazy bag. However, these features do not affect the seaworthiness of the boat, which is of a good standard, especially considering that the price is among the lowest in its category.
