Cancellation conditions depend on the policy applied by the owners.
Here are the different possible cancellation policies:
Flexible: The renter will be refunded the amount of the rental, excluding SamBoat service charges, up to the day before departure.
Zen (default conditions on our platform): If the renter cancels 5 days or more before the start of the rental, the owner will receive 30% of the rental amount, deducted from the SamBoat service fee. If the renter cancels less than 5 days before the start of the rental period, the owner will receive 100% of the rental income.
Moderate: If the renter cancels more than 2 weeks before the start of the rental period, the owner will receive 50% of the rental amount minus the SamBoat service charge. If the tenant cancels less than 2 weeks before the start of the rental period, the owner will receive 100% of the rental income.
Strict: No refunds possible, except in the event of a BMS weather warning for the entire rental period.
Personalised (For professionals only): The professional owner chooses the cancellation conditions they wish to apply. Refunds do not include SamBoat fees.
