A reservation request passes through several statuses depending on the progress of the request.
Pending
This status means that the request has been sent and is awaiting a response from the owner. The owner has 72 hours to respond to the request. After this time, the request is automatically cancelled.
Discussion
This status concerns requests for which the owner has yet to reply and can still accept or refuse the request from his personal space.
Pre-approved
This status indicates that the owner has accepted your rental request. You now have the option of confirming the charter of the requested boat by making a payment. The owner can set the renter a deadline for payment: from 2 hours to unlimited. If the renter does not pay within the time limit set by the owner, the request will revert to "Discussion" status.
Cancelled
This status concerns unpaid rental requests for which the request has been cancelled by the tenant or the owner, or because the owner's deadline for a response has expired.
Refused
This status applies to all requests that landlords refuse for various reasons, such as an out-of-date calendar, an unrealistic request from the tenant or any other reason that could lead to a refusal by the landlord.
Pre-paid
In this situation, the tenant pre-pays the reservation by credit card when the request is sent. The owner has 24 hours to reply and accept the request. If he accepts, the booking is confirmed. If he refuses, the booking is "Refused". If the owner does not reply, the booking is "Cancelled".
️ If the prepayment is for the following day, the owner only has 4 hours to respond to the request.
Once the request has been confirmed, the possible statuses are as follows:
Paid
The forthcoming booking has been paid in full
Validated/Deposit paid
One or more rental instalments have been paid, but some instalments must be paid before the start of the rental period.
Deposit paid only
The owner has set up a system for paying the deposit via SamBoat and the remainder on site.
Completed
The rental date has passed and no cancellation requests have been made. Both parties can now leave a comment on the booking.
Cancellation request
The booking has been paid for but a user has made a cancellation request which is being processed.
Refunded
The booking has been cancelled, the cancellation request has been processed and the tenant has been refunded (partially or in full).
