Presentation of search filters

In order to find the boat that will meet your needs, we have implemented a series of filters.

For your comfort, and also to respect the boat's capacity, you can choose the number of passengers, sleeping spaces, cabins, and bathrooms you want to onboard the boat.

-Type of rental:

Whether you possess a boating license or not, and considering your experience, this filter is essential to refine the list of results. You can select boats with or without a captain, or with a companion (who will not take control of the boat). For those without boating experience or a boating license, and who do not wish to hire a captain, the 'Boat without license' filter will provide independence at reduced speed.

-Type of boat:

-The sliders:

• Search Radius: Allows you to easily search for boats around you or expand the search area if your criteria are specific.

• Boat Size: Allows you to choose boats based on size criteria. The unit of measurement used is meters, along with its conversion to feet.

• Year of Construction: Allows you to select older or newer boats based on their construction year.

• Boat Power: Allows you to choose the power of the engine.

-Equipment:

A comprehensive list of comfort, energy, kitchen, leisure, navigation, and sanitary equipment allows you to select essential items for your boat rental.

-Sails:

Depending on your navigation preference, you can choose to display only boats with furling, battened, or semi-battened sails.

-Free Cancellation and Instant Booking:

If you decide to book well in advance or at the last minute, these buttons allow you to 

display:

• Boats with cancellation conditions that guarantee a full refund until the day before the rental.

• Boats available for instant booking.

-Boat and Owner:

These two categories allow you to display boats that have been verified by our agents to match the listing (Certified Boat) or boats owned by private or professional owners. If you need an invoice for your rental, you can use this filter to find boats from professionals who can provide you with one.

-Type of Activity:

On Samboat, it is possible to rent a boat for leisure use or to participate in certain regattas. If you have another purpose in mind, feel free to discuss it with boat owners on SamBoat to see if they can assist you with your project. However, it is not possible to rent a boat for subletting or to engage in commercial activities with it.
