An owner may ask you to pay the deposit directly, but we advise you to follow the following rules carefully:
Indicate in the contract the method of payment and the amount of the deposit.
Never pay a deposit directly to the owner in advance, in particular by bank transfer, without having seen the boat and the owner (or the manager, if applicable).
Do not pay the deposit until the day of the charter.
