Stromboli, Panarea and Salina are important destinations. A start from Palermo with a city tour before and after the sailing trip is recommended. The relaxed and inexpensive journey by (new) train to Capo d'Orlando is also recommended. By taxi or shuttle you would pay up to €400 per trip. By train it is only €14 per person. There are even taxis that cooperate with the port and take sailors to and from the port for €5 per person.

This is the fourth time we have sailed in the Aeolian Islands and it is always a great pleasure even if we would like to have a little more wind.
C'est la quatrième fois que nous naviguons dans les îles Éoliennes et c'est toujours un grand plaisir même si on aimerait avoir un peu plus de vent.

Rent a catamaran in Sicily, Italy with or without captain with SamBoat

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean, and lies in the south of Italy, just off the tip of the Italian "boot". It is rich in history, with Greek temples in the Doric style and many chapels with Hermetic mosaics. The archaeological site of Valle Dei Templi is one of the oldest, has well-preserved temples that were once part of one of the most important Greek cities. Rent a boat in Sicily and sail to Etna, where you will find one of the highest volcanoes in Europe.

Sicily has clear waters with slight bluish colour on its beaches, you can enjoy them aboard a catamaran. Visit the beach of Capo Granitola in Trapani where you will find an active lighthouse and fine golden sand. If you like quiet places, you can sail to Scala Dei Turchi, where you will find uncrowded beaches ideal for relaxing. You can also charter a sailboat in Sicily and create an itinerary to visit the other islands of Italy.

If you charter a catamaran in Sicily you can sail to the islands of Cefalu, Ustica and Egadi. The colour of the sea in these islands is deep blue. This makes diving a pleasant activity in this area. For relaxing, you can visit San Vito on the Tyrrhenian coast, where you will find numerous sandy and rocky beaches. They are ideal for stopping by and swimming.

The best time to visit Sicily is March, April, September and November. The weather during these months is warm and pleasant, allowing you to swim and enjoy water activities. There are also fewer tourists during these months, it is easier to visit the tourist sites.
