We had a fantastic time! I would highly recommend Ingo (skipper) and this catamaran for your trip. Ingo was extremely knowledgeable and showed us the best spots to get into the water and what spots we should avoid.

Park for free on the unsurfaced but free carpark next to cafe Mambo, if your yachting adventure starts from San Antonio. This carpark is the closest to where you need to embark on the tender that takes you to the yacht. If there are small children in your party, don't expect to sail. Also, the yacht is not new so shows its many years of service in places but is devknseaworthy. I feel that this is reflected in the price of the. It is clean and in good order. Just don't expect a bright shiny ready for tiktok or, instagram, super yacht! We enjoyed sailing around the islands near San Antonio and the swimming or snorkeling, in the coves. Some of our party enjoyed a little trip on the little tender, to the shoreline of one of the coves.

Charter a catamaran in Ibiza

What better way to discover the Balearic Islands than on a catamaran departing from Ibiza. It goes without saying that Ibiza is widely known for its beauty and nightlife. Apart from being the party capital, it truly is a jewel of the Mediterranean with it’s incredible natural beauty and coves. Ibiza has 210km of coastline that are begging to be explored with a catamaran. With a catamaran, you will have increased living space and stability that will allow you to fully enjoy the 90km of white sandy beaches and picturesque bays. Renting a boat in Ibiza is definitely the best way to explore the area.

How much does it cost to rent a catamaran in Ibiza?

Depending on whether you want to hire a catamaran in Ibiza for a half-day or a full week charter, you should keep in mind that prices increase during the high season. The Balearic islands start their season in May and typically run into the end of September. Another thing to take note of is that catamaran charters in normally start on Saturday and end on Saturday. Even though this is the case for traditional weekly charters, you can still find catamarans to hire for the day. Either way, with the popularity of Ibiza, we advise you to book well in advance.

On average, renting a catamaran can cost between 350 to 400 euros for the day and around 5000 euros for a full week. If you need a captain, that will be an additional cost running at about 150 euros per day.

Do I need a license to rent a catamaran in Ibiza?

When renting a catamaran, a license will be mandatory. In Spain, a license is required for boats longer than 6 meters. In addition to holding the proper license, you will need to complete a full nautical CV detailing the types of boats you have captained and what waters you previously sailed.

When is the best time to sail in Ibiza?

Ibiza follows the perfect Mediterranean climate, which makes it pleasant all year round. The summers can get quite hot and dry and the sailing conditions are ideal for all sea lovers. The best time to swim and sail are typically during the months of July and August, but we think that anytime between March and September will be perfect enough to enjoy a week in one of the most beautiful sailing spots in the world. Rent a sailboat in Ibiza and discover all the beautiful beaches.
