The First 235 was one of the first small boats to be designed with the idea of obtaining (in proportion) the comfort of large hulls. Designed by the Finot Group for Bénéteau, this hull is light and easy to handle like a dinghy; it is 7/8 rigged and has a generous sail surface, thanks to the large rolling jib. At sea it is a fun and fast boat, even if careful attention must be paid to the arrangement of the weights, avoiding concentrating the crew at the stern. The interiors are very large: a double berth at the bow, another at the stern, an L-shaped kitchen and a cabin height of 1.70 m, as well as a system that transforms the corner of the chart table into marine toilet room.

Disegnato dal Gruppo Finot per la Bénéteau, questo scafo è leggero e maneggevole come una deriva; è armato a 7/8 e ha una generosa superficie velica, grazie al grande fiocco rollabile. In mare è una barca divertente e veloce, anche se occorre curare bene la disposizione dei pesi evitando di concentrare l’equipaggio a poppa. Gli interni, sono molto ampi: una cuccetta doppia a prua, un’altra a poppa, una cucina a “L” e un’altezza in cabina di 1,70 m., nonché con sistema che trasforma l’angolo del tavolo carteggio in locale wc marino.
