Das gemietet Boot wurde mir in einem sehr schlechten technischen Zustand übergeben. Mir wurde bei der Übernahme des Bootes mitgeteilt, dass die Batterie sich nur über laufenden Motor aufladen lässt und nicht über Landstrom, d.h. dass während des gesamten Törns die Batterien nur über Motor geladen werden können. Hinzu kam das Problem, welches uns in der Basis mitgeteilt wurde, dass das Ankerlicht, das Dampferlicht, die Kompassbeleuchtung und die Unterwasserheckbeleuchtung nicht ausschaltbar waren und 24/7 Strom verbraucht haben. Dies hatte als Auswirkung, dass der Motor täglich mehrere Stunden laufen musste. Dies ist nicht gerade besonders förderlich für einen unbeschwerlichen Segeltörn. Desweitern wurde mit die Kaution einbehalten weil mir beim Ankern die Kette gerissen ist mit Verlust des Ankers und einem Teil der Kette. Die Firma Kiriacoulis zeigt sich in der ganzen Angelegenheit nicht sehr kooperativ mit einer miserablen (nicht vorhandenen) Kommunikation.
