We had booked a total of 3 boats. 2 of them were older. That wouldn't have been a problem, but there were too many defects: the mattresses in the bunks could have been left out. You thought you were sleeping directly on the wood. The water pump was broken, the bilge pump didn't work properly, there were 2 refrigerators on one boat - only one worked, the faucet in the shower was torn off, the bow hatch was leaking, when we took over we were told that we didn't need a power adapter - and we had to rent one in every port, the reefing line of the jib formed a snag in the furler every time we reefed so that we couldn't roll the jib back up again and each time someone had to go to the foredeck and tie the jib together until we were back in the port and, to top it all off, the Velcro fasteners on the life jackets that inflate the jacket were taped shut. An incredible safety risk.
