In 1971 Swan 55 hull no. 13 designed by S&S was built for the first German owner. She sailed under the name "JAN POTT", raced for several years and sold to the Akademischer Segel Verein (ASV) Berlin. The ASV babtized her into Walrus III following their old Walross II. In ASV the boat earned most of her glorious story. She sailed all waters on planet earth.
