Do I need a license to charter a boat in Gran Canaria?

You will require a licence depending on the kind of boat you want to rent. If you wish to rent a motorboat, you will need a licence if it has more than 15 hp and more than 4 metres in length. If you rent a catamaran or sailboat, you will need a licence if the boat is more than 5 metres in length. 

If you do not have a licence or experience in sailing you can rent any boat from our catalogue with a captain.
