The boat was in good shape. Sailing went smoothly. Anchor winch worked perfectly, there were plenty of fenders, mooring ropes. Dhingy and outboard motor working perfectly. The heads, shower, water heating were great. The crew: Giovani, Noemi and Igor did a great job. Giovani told us he replaced all the pumps on the boats last year and is working constantly to minimize all little failures on the boats in order to offer a no worries sailing experience. Attractions: Vulcano and ascent of the volcano early in the morning (before 8 a.m. due to heat) Lipari, its archaeological museum, atmosphere in the city and old port Panarea a real gem (anchorage in the south east which allows access to the small road leading to the town center) - buoy rental €120 to €150 per day in my opinion undeserved Trek Stromboli unfortunately canceled due to volcanic activity.. Sea at 29°, no jellyfish, mild sea weather

The Eolian islands are nice to sail around. Harbours can be expensive like in Salina or buoys in Panarea. Avoid these. There are some nice places to visit, cool views and interesting volcanic activities to witness. The wind is special here and not always very accurate with the forecast do be aware of changes in force and direction.

Great sailing area. Harbour fees are very expensive, however. There are a few anchorages. On Stromboli, mooring buoys are put out towards the end of May (we got a private one by chance because we were there earlier).

Gorgeous Tyrrenian sea was like a mill pond on that week as there was no wind. The Aeolian people are nice, friendly and helpful. It would have been more fun with a bit of wind. Unfortunately in the Med there is never the right wind: either too little or too much. An additional local snag is the very fast hydrofoils that frequently travel between Sicily and the Aeolian Islands; you have to be very careful not to get in their way
