From Como town, take a Como dayboat route and head to Torno, a village that has an expansive view of the South Western end of Lake Como. Visit the 12th century churches of Santa Tecla and San Giovanni, the latter of which is famous for storing one of the nails used in the crucifixion of Christ. The famous villas Pliniana and Taverna with their lush gardens are also renowned attractions in this village.

Make your way to Porto San Giovanni in Bellagio, a town known as the Pearl of Lake Como. There are plenty of activities at this town that marks the division between the East and the West of Lake Como. Notable sites are its villas such as Villa Melzi, which was constructed by an Italian Vice President in 1810 and boasts of an English garden and a Japanese lake, as well as Villa Serbelloni, which is steeped in history and whose park is open to guided visits. You can also spend some time hiking along the numerous trails of Bellagio.

This is a small village located on the Western shores of Lake Como. It is in part made famous by its white marble cliffs, which are the source of materials used in the construction of the columns of San Lorenzo in Milano. The Blackbird’s Garden (Giardino del Merlo) is another interesting site in this village dating back to 1858, which has since been restored and boasts of varying vegetation, bridges, and caves. In Musso, you can also find the Churches of Saint Euphemia and the Church of Saint Biagio which date back to the 14th century.
